There are various materials available for sealing rings, including but not limited to rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyurethane, silicone, fluororubber, and metal. Different materials offer different performance characteristics, such as high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and pressure resistance.
The following are some common sealing ring materials:
Rubber Sealing Rings:
Rubber is a common sealing ring material, including nitrile rubber (NBR), fluororubber (FKM), acrylic rubber (ACM), and neoprene rubber (CR). Rubber sealing rings have good elasticity and sealing performance, suitable for general industrial applications and sealing common media.

PTFE Sealing Rings:
PTFE sealing rings have excellent chemical corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance, suitable for sealing requirements in high-temperature, high-pressure, and highly corrosive media.

Polyurethane Sealing Rings:
Polyurethane sealing rings have good wear and abrasion resistance, suitable for high-pressure liquid sealing applications such as hydraulic systems and automotive braking systems.

Silicone Sealing Rings:
Silicone sealing rings have good high-temperature resistance and weather resistance, suitable for sealing requirements in high-temperature environments, such as water heaters and automotive engines.

Fluororubber (FKM) seals:
Fluororubber seals offer excellent oil resistance, wear resistance, and high-temperature resistance, making them suitable for sealing media such as lubricating oil and hydraulic oil.

Metal seals:
Metal seals are typically formed by stamping metal sheets. They possess good high-pressure resistance, high-temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for sealing high-pressure, high-temperature, and highly corrosive media, such as pipe connections and valve seals.

Composite seals:
Composite seals are usually composed of two or more materials, combining the advantages of each to meet specific sealing requirements. For example, rubber-metal composite seals offer good elasticity and pressure resistance
